Now that June is around the corner that means tons of summer time recipes! If you are someone who spends their summer putting their grill to good use then you will love this! BBQ Bacon Burgers are exactly what you need for a dinner outside. These are easy to put together and something everyone will love!
Ingredients:
1 pound ground beef
1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
Salt and pepper
1 tablespoon garlic powder
1/2 white onion, sliced into rings
2 tablespoons olive oil
12 slices bacon
6 slices American or cheddar cheese
1 cup BBQ sauce (I use this brand)
6 hamburger buns
Instructions:
1) In a small skillet, heat the olive oil on medium heat. Add the onions and cook until golden brown and caramelized. Set aside. Wipe out the pan and fry the bacon until crisp. Let cool on paper towels until ready.
2) In a large bowl, mix the ground beef, Worcestershire sauce, salt, pepper and garlic powder. Form into six burger patties.
3) Set your grill to medium high heat and grill the patties till no longer pink inside.
4) Place the patties on burger bun, top with the onions and bacon. Pour some BBQ sauce over everything and top with other bun half. Serve immediately.
