I love baked potatoes! Especially Crockpot Baked Potatoes! They are an easy side dish that can be filled with anything! Sometimes though, they can hold up your dinner if they don’t cook long enough in the oven. If you want to take that worry away, you can make them right in your crockpot! They come out soft and delicious and you don’t have to worry about timing them around your main course. You let them slow cook away and they will be ready just in time. They will also save you on oven space since these will be cooked elsewhere. All you need to get ready is all of your favorite toppings, you can watch the butter and cheese melt right in and your ready to eat!
4-6 russet potatoes
2 tablespoons olive oil
Toppings: Butter, sour cream, bacon, cheddar, chives, etc.
1) Scrub the potatoes and dry completely. Pierce every potato all over with a fork, place onto a piece of foil. Rub all over with olive oil and cover with foil.
2) Repeat until all potatoes are wrapped in foil. Place into crockpot.
3) Cook on high for 4-5 hours or low for 8-10 hours. Remove from crockpot and let cool for a bit before handling. Slice open and add toppings.
