Crockpot Philly Chicken Cheesesteak Sandwiches

Crockpot Philly Chicken Cheesesteak Sandwiches

Now that fall is here, my crockpot is getting used more and more. This is a great recipe to make for a busy day or if you are feeding a group and want something nice and easy. You can make this for Sunday football and have it ready by the 4 pm game with no problems! I used provolone for the cheese but you can absolutely mix it up and use something different if you want. Some American, Sliced Pepper Jack or some sharp cheddar would all work well with this! I cut right into the middle of the roll to make a little sandwich boat, which helped hold all the yummy goodness inside.

Ingredients:

1 lb boneless chicken, sliced into strips

2 tablespoons butter

1 white onion, sliced

2 green peppers, sliced

6 slices provolone cheese

2 garlic cloves, chopped

Salt and pepper

Sandwich rolls
