Double Chocolate Banana Bread

My kids eat a lot of bananas so I get the opportunity to make banana bread a lot. I can do the regular Cinnamon Sugar Banana Bread, which is a big favorite around here, or I can change it up and make this decadent Double Chocolate Banana Bread! This was a huge hit with my kids and they loved the mini chocolate chips inside. I used my trusty loaf pan for this. I get a lot of use out of it and I love it. You can find a similar one here. Ingredients: 

1 cup flour

3/4 cup cocoa powder

2 teaspoons baking powder

1 teaspoon baking soda

1/4 teaspoon salt

1/3 cup melted butter

2 eggs

3/4 cup brown sugar

2 teaspoons vanilla

3 ripe bananas

1/4 cup milk

1 cup mini chocolate chips

Instructions: 

1) Preheat the oven to 350 degrees. Spray a loaf pan and set aside.

2) In a large bowl, mix melted butter, sugar, eggs and vanilla. Add in bananas and milk.

3) Slowly mix in flour, cocoa, baking powder, baking soda and salt. Fold in chocolate chips until well combined.

4) Pour batter into loaf pan and bake for 1 hour till toothpick comes out clean. Let cool before removing from pan.
