Honey Lime Tilapia

Honey Lime Tilapia

I love this recipe so much. It’s so easy to prepare and cook. I usually buy a bag of frozen tilapia individually wrapped by the bag. This recipe works for both defrosted or fresh fish. This is something that every time you have this, the first bite is just amazing every time. The marinade complements the fish perfectly.

Ingredients:

2 tilapia filets

2 tablespoons honey

2 tablespoons lime juice

2 tablespoons chopped garlic

1/4 cup flour

Olive oil, enough to cover pan

Instructions:

1) Put honey, lime juice, garlic and fish into a sealed bag to marinate. Wait time depends on dinner time but I would let this sit for at least a half hour.

2) Put flour in bowl and heat olive oil in pan to medium-high heat.

3) Take fish out of bag and shake well, then drudge through the flour mixture. Make sure there is a nice coating of flour coating the filet.

4) Once oil is hot enough, they you cook the fish on either side. I do about 3-4 minutes on each side.

Serve with a side of veggies and this is healthy and delicious!
