Top 10 Kitchen Tools That Make My Kitchen

When I first started to teach myself to cook, I really didn’t have a lot in my kitchen to work with. Most of my stuff was hand me down and I basically had a toaster and a tea kettle! It took a few years and trying different things but here is a list of 10 items that I know use and recommend.

Cast Iron Skillet

Anyone who has read a few recipes here knows that I use my cast iron skillet pretty regularly. It’s sturdy, it has multiple uses and it’s oven friendly! These are made to last a long time and it’s not unheard of for people to be using the same cast iron their grandparents once cooked in! This is a solid investment for your kitchen.

Non-Stick Cookware

My husband saw this on an infomercial one night and decided to try them out. I’m a fan. Their non-stick cookware really is non-stick.

Crockpot

I use this a lot and I love the sealing clips on top so I could move this if I need to. Everything always comes out delicious!

Deep Fryer

My husband is the fryer in the house and he likes this model. It doesn’t take up a lot of room and heats up quickly. He doesn’t like that the food floats up but he used the fry basket from Orgreenix and put it on top of the food to keep it from moving.

Pizza Stone

I never knew how much I needed a pizza stone until I got one. It makes my Perfect Thin Crust Pizza one of our favorite dinners. This makes the crust so amazingly crisp and it cooks up nice and quick!

Blender

A kitchen must have. I don’t need to spend a lot of money on a VitaMax. I use a Cuisinart blender and it works wonderfully.

Mixer

This is perfect if you don’t have a lot of counter space because it works just as well but you don’t have it taking up real estate in your kitchen. The beaters come off for easy cleaning and you just plug it in and go!

Pressure Cooker

Whenever I make my Sunday Sauce this gets used. I can it in mason jars and seal the lids and then they go in this bad boy to be sealed up nice and tight till we need it. If you like making food in bulk, I highly recommend this if you are looking into canning.

Spiralizer

This is one of those things that you don’t need but it’s so fun to have. Turn your veggies into noodles and have healthy pasta dinners. My Zucchini Noodles can’t be made without this.

Baking Dish

This is my go-to for so many recipes. It’s just so versatile. You can really make almost anything in it.
